Tia Reid, a Baltimore native, was  born June 26 1994. As a woman on the go, Tia strives to create her own lane ranging in modeling, entrepreneurship & of course music. Tia first received her professional start in the industry when she received a call from Jeff of Jazzy Studios, which jump started her success as a model. In her modeling career, Tia has worked with countless photographers and videographers including Rachard Wolf, Photomatic Smith, Taylor Boy Nate and SixShoota. She later went on to work with celebrity makeup artist J’aya Jstarr, R&B sensation Raheem Devaughn, Rapper Wale, TT the Artist and the list continues. 

Between 2012-2013, Tia’s creativity & individuality grew in her career & at the height of 2014 she birthed her first single “Childish”. With Tia’s consistency, she was then awarded Baltimore’s R&B Artist of the year, for 2 years in a row. As Tia hit the ground running with her new music she managed to create a major impact via social media & gained an online presence of 30k followers almost instantly! With male & female influences such as School Boy Q, Mos Def, Jhene Aiko & Lauryn Hill to name a few, Tia’s sound can be described as feel good music with her mellow tone & edgy vibe she puts to her songs. Following her break out single, she later released a more uptempo single  called “Boss”(2015) & her newest single “Never Fade”(2018) in which she sheds some light on her struggles & visions as an artist. While chanting “F#$& all the likes, I want money!” she creatively touches on the topic of artist compensation in exchange for services, a familiar topic most creatives can relate to.  She also touches on other relatable situations both good or bad amongst peers or those we love. All of these amazing songs can be streamed on all musical platforms including Apple Music. In her career as an artist, Tia has performed at a number of colleges & venues including Towson University, Cultural Arts Center, Select Lounge, Oxygen Nightclub, & Warehouse 2260 just to name a few.

Currently, Tia is working to put out more amazing music while continuing to make an impact with her social media. Tia runs an Instagram page called Network Baltimore (@networkbaltimore) that brings awareness to talented creatives in her city. She has found a way to connect fellow artists with other like minded people, through the convenience of social media. With Tia’s resilience and high energy, she finds solace in releasing her true emotions via music.
